Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Let me first begin by apologizing for the lack of clarity on the Friday email suspending in-person services. I should have stated that the rationale for the suspension was the current increasing concerns on health issues related to the pandemic.
Second, this was a very difficult decision for us to make on Thursday night at the Consistory meeting. There was a lot of discussions surrounding the value of in-person fellowship versus the risk inherent in having folks together in relation to the current serious uptick in COVID cases in the last month.
In the end we concluded that the health of our congregation was even more vital at this time.
I know some of you may disagree with this and there was a lot of work put into creating wondrous holiday programs. The good news is that we will continue to offer those moment to all who log-in to our services as recorded each week.
My family and I are looking forward to getting back together with all of you as soon as possible.
In the meantime, have a wonderful and spiritual holiday season as we thank the one who made this a reason to celebrate.
Your brother in Christ,
